South West Trains launch one destination for employee information and new voluntary benefits
South West Trains have joined forces with Personal Group to implement a new voluntary benefits programme to their 4,500 employees.
Launched on 1st August 2011, the programme, which includes a new voluntary benefits website and booklet, coincides with the introduction of the train company’s new intranet, 'The Platform'. After a quick and easy registration to The Platform, South West Trains employees can obtain a unique code which gives them access to over 5,000 value added discounts and offers through their new benefits website. Having access to the two new services via one channel of communication ensures employees, who are located across hundreds of sites and work varying shift patterns, can obtain the information and benefits they need quickly, conveniently and at a time that suits them.
In addition to this valuable channel of information, Personal Group is involved in implementing face to face communications activity to further enhance employees' understanding of the benefits which includes discounts at popular UK retailers, an employee assistance helpline and a childcare vouchers scheme.
