Fundraising in full swing for Willen Hospice
Since the launch of our ‘Charity of the year’ in July 2011, Personal Group employees have raised an incredible £7,000 for Willen Hospice through a series of fundraising events including a balloon release, a creepy Halloween bake-off (pictured), fancy dress days, a glamorous clothes swap and a quiz.
As a company committed to supporting our customers, employees and local communities, Milton Keynes based Willen Hospice was the perfect choice when it came to who we would like to fundraise for.
Paul Hinson, Chief Executive at Willen Hospice said, “We are delighted Personal Group chose Willen Hospice as their charity of the year and cannot express enough what this means to us. Local business support is invaluable to our survival and this is another wonderful example of people’s fondness for the Hospice during our 30th anniversary year. I would like to personally thank Personal Group and wish them a fun and exciting year of fundraising.”
On 3rd and 4th December a team of Personal Group employees are braving the cold to volunteer at Willen Hospice’s Lights of Love event. Keep up to date with how we get on together with lots of other Personal Group news and views on Twitter @for_yourbenefit
