Jazz - Group Account Executive

Before joining Personal Group Jazz was employed as an Insurance Sales Representative.

I joined Personal Group in 2006 and I’ve found the company to be very professional with a happy culture. My career has maintained a very steady incline over the years due to my hard work, high standards and self motivation.

An important skill I’ve developed during my time at Personal Group is my ability to take positive control of any situation that occurs while on a field location. Problems do crop up and things can change unexpectedly; how you deal with these things has a big effect on how successful your day is. Alongside learning to take control of such situations is the ability to see and handle negatives in a positive manner; another skill I’ve developed.

There are always goals and targets to aim towards and maintaining my status amongst the company’s leading Group Account Executives in what we call “Premier League” is also an important aim for me. I’ve had a lot of success with the business which has led to pay rises, qualifying for a five star holiday to Saint Tropez, qualifying for a company car of my choice and being invited to talk at our National Sales Meeting. The incentives are great motivational tools but I think the best things about this job are the opportunity to achieve my goals, both personal and professional, meeting new people and not being stuck in an office all day.
