Kate - Group Account Executive

Before joining Personal Group Kate was employed as a hair stylist.

I’ve been a Group Account Executive since 2009 and I love it! I feel I have achieved so much from graduating to a full exec to being on the road to qualifying to join the company’s top ranking field executives in what we call the “Premier League”. To do well in this job you do need to be able to work away from home and not miss the routine of going into an office regularly but I prefer it that way. Even though I don’t go to Head Office that often the support I get is fantastic, it’s just more likely to be over the phone rather than face to face.

You do need to be organised, especially when it comes to the admin element of the role and strong communication skills are obviously important as well. I think an important reason for my quick success with the business has been the fact that I listen to my managers and other execs with more experience than me and follow instructions.

Sometimes being away from home all week can be hard but the level of support makes it easier and the rewards do help! My biggest achievement so far has been getting into Premier League in my first quarter, qualifying for the Champions Weekend; an all expenses paid VIP weekend at the races and then hitting target to make it to the Company’s annual Convention in Rio de Janeiro!
