Sarah – Group Account Manager – South Team

Before joining Personal Group Sarah was employed as a Field Sales Representative.

I started my career with Personal Group in January 2007 as a Group Account Executive and I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s a great company to work for; it is hard work and quite intense but they are fair and the rewards are great.

I managed to find my feet quite quickly as a Group Account Executive and achieved the number 2 position in 2007. 2008 was my first full year and I went one step better and achieved the No.1 spot. On the strength of my success I was promoted in 2009 to Group Account Manager. The last two years have been a great learning experience and a massive change in my life for the better. I really want to do well in life and this has kept me motivated and focused on moving my career forward, the unlimited earning potential helps too!

The role of a Group Account Executive and Group Account Manager is a hard one and you do have to think for yourself and be flexible in your approach to work but the support you get within the business is fantastic.

I have achieved a lot with the Company so far and I’m looking to developing both my skills in producing more new business and also now my management skills going forward. There are challenges to the job, a key one being that communication with some employees on site can be very difficult at times but the rewards are excellent and I’ve had many amazing holidays off the back of my hard work and determination!
