Personal Group Holdings Plc ("the Company")

DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING

The Company has been informed by Mr Christopher Johnston, Chairman that on 2 December 2008 his SIPP purchased 100,000 Ordinary Shares of 5p each, representing 0.33 of the issued share capital of the Company, at a price of 212.0 pence per ordinary share.

Following this transaction, Mr Johnston is interested in 15,581,393 shares, representing 51.01 % of the total shares in issue.
