DIRECTOR’S SHARE PURCHASE

Mr J F Pardoe has today purchased 10,825 Personal Group Holdings Plc ordinary shares at £2.725 per share.

Under the terms of Mr Pardoe’s bonus agreement the shares were purchased from the Group’s share scheme trustee (Personal Group Trustees Ltd) at the closing mid-market price on 27 March 2006, the date on which Personal Group Holdings Plc’s close period ended.

The total number of ordinary shares held by Mr Pardoe as at 18 April 2006 was 46,529.
