Personal Group Holdings Plc ("the Company")

BUY BACK OF SHARES

At the last Annual General Meeting AGM of the Company, held on 29 April 2008 the shareholders renewed the authority for the Company to be authorised to make market purchases (as defined in Section 163 of the Companies Act 1985) of its shares. The Company has today purchased 482,500 ordinary shares of 5p each representing 1.58% of the issued share capital of the company, at a price of 210 pence per ordinary share.

These shares have been cancelled and the issued share capital of the Company has now been reduced to 30,064,661 shares.
