Personal Group Holding plc (“Personal Group”)

Appointment of Director
The Board of Personal Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan Pardoe as an Executive Director, with immediate effect.

Jonathan Pardoe is the Chairman and Managing Director of Berkeley Morgan Group Limited. On 10 December 2004 it was announced that agreement had been reached on the terms of a recommended cash offer by Personal Group Holdings Plc to acquire the whole of the issued and to be issued share capital of Berkeley Morgan Group.

In accordance with paragraph (f) of Schedule Two of the AIM Rules, the following information in relation to Jonathan, as a new appointee to the Board of Personal Group, is disclosed below:

On Monday, 25 April 2005 Jonathan Pardoe purchased 35,000 Personal Group Holdings Plc shares at £2.27 per share.

The Board report that all resolutions at yesterday’s Annual General Meeting were approved by the shareholders and that trading for the first quarter of 2005 is in line with market expectations.
