PERSONAL GROUP HOLDINGS PLC

DIRECTORS PURCHASE OF SHARES
AND GRANT OF OPTIONS

Personal Group Holdings Plc (“the Company”) operates an Inland Revenue approved Company Share Ownership Plan (CSOP) which allows certain directors the opportunity to purchase shares in the Company currently held by Personal Group Trustees Limited.

On 27 April 2004 options under the Company’s selective CSOP were awarded as follows:
