NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES IN DIRECTORS
1) RESIGNATION OF A DIRECTOR
Having served as a non-executive director of Personal Assurance Plc since 1993 and additionally of Personal Group Holdings Plc since it was formed in 1997; Sidney Donald (age 65) has today retired as a director of the Company.
Mr Donald, and his wife, have today sold all of their shares in the Company to Personal Group Trustees Limited (a company wholly owned by the Company which operates the Company’s All Share Ownership Plan (AESOP) and the Company’s Share Option Plan (CSOP) schemes). In total 7,555 shares have been sold, 3,195 shares at £3.16 per share and 4,360 shares at £3.12 per share.
2) APPOINTMENT OF A DIRECTOR WITH EFFECT FROM 1 MAY 2008
The Company reports that Mr Harry Driver will be appointed as a non executive director of the Company with effect from 1 May 2008. Mr Driver’s full details are as follows:
